Liver Cancer

Colorectal CancerThe liver is the largest internal organ in the human body and has an important detoxification function. Liver cancer is a malignant tumor, which can be divided into two categories, primary and secondary. Primary liver cancer refers to a malignant tumor that occurs in hepatocytes or intrahepatic bile duct epithelial cells and its etiology and pathogenesis are not yet clear. According to related investigations, it is related to alcohol consumption, viral hepatitis, food and drink, parasites, as well as genetic factors, etc. Secondary liver cancer is more common, also known as metastatic liver cancer, which refers to the spread or metastasis of malignant tumors from other organs of the body to the liver.

Diagnosis of Liver Cancer

Diagnosis of primary liver cancer:

  • Detection of liver cancer markers. Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) is a specific marker for the diagnosis of liver cancer. It is widely used in liver cancer screening, diagnosis, treatment and recurrence diagnosis. AFP>400 ng/ml is one of the conditions for the diagnosis of liver cancer. Other commonly used molecular markers include α-L-fucosidase and abnormal prothrombin, etc.
  • Imaging Diagnosis. Including CT, B-scan MRI, etc. Imaging diagnosis can comprehensively evaluate the location and metastasis of tumors.
  • Liver biopsy. Liver biopsy under the guidance of ultrasound or CT is the most reliable method to diagnose liver cancer, but there is still a certain false-negative rate.

Diagnosis of secondary liver cancer:

  • For cancers that are prone to liver metastasis, such as colorectal cancer, liver metastases should be routinely screened after diagnosis. If there is no liver metastasis at the time of diagnosis, the patients should be followed up regularly to know whether there is liver metastasis.

Advantages of Our Products

Creative Biogene's liver cancer diagnostic products are mainly AFP antibodies. AFP exists in the early embryo and gradually disappears after the fetus is born. If AFP reappears in adult serum, it indicates hepatocellular carcinoma or gonad embryonic carcinoma, because when liver cells become cancerous, they restore the function of producing AFP. The wide application of AFP detection has greatly improved the diagnosis level of liver cancer. It has a good guiding significance in the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of liver cancer.

Creative Biogene has accumulated years of experience in liver cancer diagnosis. Our products are competitive in the market due to their reasonable price and high quality, which can help you solve the diagnosis problem quickly. You can choose us without hesitation.
