Toxoplasmosis

• Immunological examination. Use indirect immunofluorescence test or indirect hemagglutination test to detect anti-insect surface membrane antibodies in serum. ELISA method is used to detect the circulating antigen of Toxoplasma gondii in serum or body fluid, which is a reliable indicator for early diagnosis of acute Toxoplasma infection.
• Etiological examination. Through DNA hybridization technology, the probe containing Toxoplasma specific DNA sequence is used to conduct molecular hybridization with the cells or tissues DNA in the peripheral blood of the patient, and the specific hybridization bands or spots are positive.
