Stroke A stroke occurs when blood vessels in the brain rupture and bleed, or when the blood supply to the brain is blocked. Diagnosis of Stroke

miR-210 represents the main hypoxia-induced miRNA, also known as hypoxapyrimidine, which is commonly expressed in a wide range of cells. Emerging evidence suggests that the induction of miR-210-3p is a consistent feature of the hypoxia response of normal and malignant cells. miR-210 is related to a variety of important targets such as cancer, cell cycle regulation, cell survival, differentiation, metabolism, and angiogenesis. The level of miRNA-210 in the blood of stroke patients is significantly reduced, and the level of stroke patients with a good prognosis is significantly higher than that of patients with a poor prognosis. miR-451a is a miRNA associated with cell metabolism. miR-451a has been identified as a biomarker for the pathogenesis and prognosis of patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS) and transient ischemic attack (TIA).
