Hypertension

HypertensionHypertension refers to a clinical syndrome characterized by increased systemic arterial blood pressure (systolic and/or diastolic blood pressure), which can be accompanied by the function or organic damage of the heart, brain, kidney and other organs. Hypertension is the most common chronic disease and the most important risk factor for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Normal blood pressure fluctuates within a certain range with changes in internal and external environments. In the overall population, blood pressure levels gradually increase with age, more obvious in systolic blood pressure, but diastolic blood pressure shows a downward trend after the age of 50, and pulse pressure also increases. Hypertension is a lifestyle disease. Many bad daily behaviors, such as high sodium and low potassium diet, obesity, excessive drinking, lack of exercise, etc. are all risk factors for hypertension.

Diagnosis of Hypertension

Once the diagnosis of hypertension is considered, a comprehensive examination and evaluation should be carried out, including medical history investigation, physical examination, laboratory examination, genetic analysis, blood pressure measurement and target organ damage assessment.

  • Physical examination. Measure body mass index (BMI), waist circumference and hip circumference. Check the limbs, arteries, face and blood pressure for abnormalities. It also includes a full cardiopulmonary examination.
  • Laboratory examination. Basic items include blood biochemistry, blood routine, electrocardiogram, urinalysis, etc. Other items include echocardiography, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, fundus examination, etc. These tests can help determine the cause of hypertension and the functional status of target organs.

Advantages of Our Products

Angiotensinogen is the precursor of angiotensin and is cleaved into angiotensin I and II in the renin-angiotensin system, and it has long been reported to play an important role in controlling blood pressure. Creative Biogene's test kit mainly uses immunohistochemistry to detect the content of angiotensin II in the sample to help diagnose hypertension.

Creative Biogene has a professional team of experts who developed quality hypertension diagnostic products. Our products are competitive in the market due to their reasonable price and high quality, which can help you solve the diagnosis problem quickly. We look forward to working with you for your cooperation.
