Liver Disease

Liver Disease

Liver disease refers to lesions that occur in the liver. Our liver disease detection products mainly for hepatitis. Hepatitis is caused by a variety of pathogenic factors-such as viruses, bacteria, parasites, chemical poisons, drugs, alcohol, autoimmune factors, etc., which destroy liver cells, damage the liver functio, and cause a series of body symptoms, as well as abnormal liver function indicators. Whether hepatitis can be transmitted is mainly determined by the etiology. Viral hepatitis A and E are highly infectious and can be transmitted through the digestive tract, and viral hepatitis B, C, and D are transmitted through blood. Other non-viral hepatitis is not contagious. Due to the different causes of hepatitis, although there are similar clinical manifestations, there are often obvious differences in etiology, serology, injury mechanism, clinical course and prognosis, extrahepatic damage, diagnosis and treatment.

Diagnosis Method

The detection methods of liver disease mainly include the following:

  • Blood routine. The results of routine blood tests of patients with viral hepatitis show a relatively increase in lymphocytes. The leukocytes are elevated in acute phase, and are low in the jaundice phase. The leukocytes are high, hemoglobin is low, and erythrocytes are low in severe hepatitis.
  • Urine routine. When liver cell damage causes hepatitis, urine bilirubin and urobilinogen are positive.
  • Liver biochemical examination. Abnormal elevation of liver enzymes can be seen in different types of hepatitis, and the amplitude of elevation of alanine aminotransferase (ALT), glutamic-oxalacetic aminotransferase (AST) and V-glutamyl transpeptidase (Y-GT) is different due to different etiology.
  • Pathogen tests. Nucleic acid detection of hepatitis virus, such as hepatitis B secretory virus DNA, hepatitis C virus RNA, etc., can be used for diagnosis, treatment decision-making and treatment effect evaluation.
  • Antigen antibody tests. Including viral hepatitis antigen antibody test, as well as autoimmune hepatitis for autoantibody test.
  • Liver imaging examination. B-type ultrasound is the first choice, and CT and MRI are also available.
