AIDS

AIDSAIDS, also known as acquired immune deficiency syndrome, is a systemic disease caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), which is a very harmful infectious disease. HIV is a virus that can attack the human immune system. It takes the most important CD4 T lymphocytes in the human immune system as the main target, destroys the cells in a large amount, and makes the human body lose its immune function. Therefore, the human body is susceptible to various diseases, and malignant tumors can occur, with a high mortality rate. The average incubation period of HIV in the human body is 8-9 years. During the incubation period of HIV, one can live and work without any symptoms for many years. There is no cure for AIDS, and the progress can be controlled with medication. Taking safe sex is the main preventive measure of the disease.

Diagnosis of AIDS

The main test methods for AIDS are as follows:

HIV-1/2 antibody detection. HIV antibodies are detected by enzyme-linked immunoassay, gelatin particle agglutination test, immunofluorescence assay and Western blot assay.

CD4+ T lymphocyte test. This test is mainly used to understand the patient's immune status, as well as the progression of the disease course, determine the stage of the disease, and judge the effectiveness of treatment.

HIV nucleic acid testing. After the body is infected with HIV, the virus will increase rapidly in the blood. Therefore, by testing the HIV nucleic acid, the viral load in the patient can be evaluated, thus assessing the severity of the disease and judging the treatment effect.

HIV genotype drug resistance testing. This test is of reference significance for doctors to choose a treatment plan suitable for patients.

Imaging test. It can be used to diagnose complications of infected patients such as Pneumocystis pneumonia (PCP).

Advantages of Our Products

As symptoms may be absent or non-specific, 35.3 million people infected with HIV worldwide don't know their condition. Besides, there is a mean period of 3 weeks between contamination and the appearance of the first anti-HIV serum antibodies1. Early detection of seroconversions is thus one of the main HIV diagnostic challenges. Creative Biogene's test kits using immunological methods to quantitatively determine HIV antibodies in serum or plasma samples, thereby assisting clinical diagnosis of AIDS and helping AIDS-related research to proceed smoothly.

Creative Biogene has a professional team of experts who developed quality AIDS diagnostic products. Our products are competitive in the market due to their reasonable price and high quality, which can help you solve the diagnosis problem quickly. We look forward to working with you for your cooperation.
