This enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) is used for the quantitative or qualitative determination of IgA antibodies against tTG (tissue transglutaminase) in human serum. The immobilized antigen is a highly purified preparation of human recombinant tTG expressed in a baculovirus system. The test is fast and flexible. Tissue transglutaminase (tTG) has been identified as the main endomysm CD autoantigen.
