Syntenin 2 (SDCBP2, Syntenin 2) is a protein containing two PDZ domains. The PDZ domain promotes protein-protein interaction by binding to the cytoplasmic c-terminus of transmembrane proteins. SDCBP2 binds to PIP2 with high affinity and targets the plasma membrane, nucleoli and nuclear spots through the PDZ domain. SDCBP2 exists in two alternately spliced variants, namely 2 patterns and 2 patterns, and their N-terminal regions have different lengths.
