RSV/hMPV Assay Kit

The RSV/hMPV assay kit is a multiplex real-time PCR for the qualitative detection and identification of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and human metapneumovirus (hMPV) viral RNA extracted from nasal swabs and nasopharyngeal swab specimens Detection method. The real-time RSV + hMPV test can detect RSV and hMPV and be able to distinguish between them. Under optimized conditions, multiple real-time RT-PCR reactions are performed in a single test tube to generate RSV, hMPV and process control (PRC) amplicons. RSV, hMPV and PRC were identified by using target-specific primers and fluorescently labeled probes that hybridized with the conserved region in NS2 and the polymerase gene of RSV and the polymerase gene of hMPV and PRC.
