RSV/hMPV Assay Kit

The RSV/hMPV assay kit is a multiplex real-time PCR assay for qualitative detection and identification of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and human metapneumovirus (hMPV) viruses extracted from nasal and nasopharyngeal swab samples RNA. The real-time RSV + hMPV test can detect RSV and hMPV and be able to distinguish between them. Under optimized conditions, multiple real-time RT-PCR reactions are performed in a single test tube to generate RSV, hMPV and process control (PRC) amplicons. RSV, hMPV and PRC were identified by using target-specific primers and fluorescently labeled probes that hybridized with the conserved region in NS2 and the polymerase gene of RSV and the polymerase gene of hMPV and PRC.
