Rapid rheumatoid arthritis test

The rapid rheumatoid arthritis test is used for qualitative screening and semi-quantitative determination of rheumatoid factor (RF) in human serum. Rheumatoid factor is an immunoglobulin against the Fc part of IgG. Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic systemic disease of unknown etiology. The diagnosis is based on a combination of clinical and radiological analysis. The measurement of RF is a laboratory test, which is not only most commonly used for the diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis, but also helps in the prognosis of the disease and monitoring treatment response.
