It is a test designed for the detection of Chlamydia trachomatis by simultaneous amplification of two independent targets of its DNA: one in the cryptic plasmid and another in its own genome and subsequent identification by immuochromatography. This test can detect infections caused by wild-type CT, the Swedish variant or those that do not carry the cryptic plasmid.
