Raf-1 proto-oncogene, serine/threonine kinase (RAF1), is a MAP3K kinase (MAP kinase kinase, MAP3K), which plays a role in the downstream of Ras family membrane-related GTPases and directly binds to it. RAF1 has two subtypes, with molecular weights of 73 and 75 kDa. RAF1 plays an important role in the regulation of gene expression such as cell division cycle, cell apoptosis, cell differentiation, and cell migration.
