PBX3, also known as pre-b cell leukemia transcription factor 3, is a 434 amino acid protein containing a homeobox dna binding domain and belongs to the TALE/PBX homeobox family. PBX3 is located in the nucleus and acts as a transcriptional activator to bind to the sequence 5'-ATCAATCAA-3'. PBX3 is widely expressed in many organizations.
