This kit can test the content of NSE in serum. Elevated NSE levels can support the diagnosis of small cell lung cancer (SCLC) in the absence of histological evidence, and NSE levels are elevated in 60% to 81% of SCLC cases. NSE concentration has no correlation with metastasis site or brain metastasis, but has a good correlation with clinical stage. The serum NSE level of SCLC patients can reflect the prognostic effect.
