MGP (modified gliadin peptide) IgA ELISA

This enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) is used for the quantitative or qualitative determination of IgA antibodies against modified gliadin peptides (MGP) in human serum. The immobilized antigen is a highly purified synthetic peptide derivative. The test is fast and flexible. Recently, certain deamidated gliadin peptides have been shown to be powerful immunogens, and antibodies against these peptides have shown better diagnostic accuracy for celiac disease than antibodies against rough gliadin.
