The test is an immunochromatographic assay for the detection of Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax antigen in human whole blood. Target antigens are Histidin-Rich Protein II (HRP-II) of Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium lactate dehydrogenase (pLDH) of Plasmodium vivax. Screening test results can be obtained within 15 minutes with high sensitivity and specificity.
