This kit can measure the activities of lipoprotein lipase (LPL) and hepatic triglyceride lipase (HTGL) in postheparin plasma and contains additional controls compared to the 30134021. LPL plays a central role in lipoprotein metabolism by catalyzing hydrolysis of triglycerides (TGs) in chylomicrons and VLDL particles.
