Legionella FIA Kit

The Legionella Fluorescence Immunoassay (FIA) kit uses advanced immunofluorescence-based lateral flow technology to detect Legionella pneumophila serogroup 1 antigen in human urine specimens. The kit is designed to detect specimens from patients with pneumonia symptoms . Legionella pneumophila serogroup 1 antigen (if present) binds to the detection particle. When the sample migrates upward from the test strip to the test line, the antigen-binding complex binds to the capture antibody to form a fluorescent line. If there is no antigen, the fluorescent particles will not be captured by the capture antibody and will not be detected.
