The influenza A/B assay kit is a rapid qualitative in vitro diagnostic test for detecting and distinguishing influenza A and influenza B viruses from nasal and nasopharyngeal swabs of patients with respiratory tract infection symptoms and signs. The kit can amplify and detect viral RNA present in a transport medium containing nasopharyngeal or nasal swab specimens obtained from symptomatic patients.
