IgE is a type of 5-chain affinity cell antibody. It is the main antibody involved in the regulation of the pathogenesis of allergic rhinitis, allergic asthma and eczema. Allergens enter the body to induce specific IgE. IgE binds to mast cells and eosinophils. Granulocytes make the body enter a state of specific sensitization to the allergen. When the allergen comes into contact again, it binds to the lgE receptor on the cell membrane to cause a series of biochemical reactions, and then releases a variety of bioactive mediators related to allergic reactions and inflammation, such as histamine. Elevated serum IgE is a powerful indicator of allergic diseases.
