Application: | HSP70 is a stress-inducible member of heat-shock protein 70 (HSP70) proteins which are highly conserved chaperons implicated in protein folding, refolding, transport, and targeting. Expression of HSP70 protein can be highly activated by various stressful stimuli. Significant up-regulation of HSP70 has been found in various tumors. Increased serum HSP70 levels are also associated with progression of multiple diseases, including atherosclerosis, heart failure, and diabetes. |
This test kit is a solid phase sandwich Enzyme Linked-Immuno-Sorbent Assay (Sandwich ELISA). The IDH1 ELISA kit is to be used to detect and quantify protein levels of endogenous IDH1. The assay recognizes human IDH1. An antibody specific for IDH1 has been pre-coated onto the microwells. The IDH1 protein in samples is captured by the coated antibody after incubation. Following extensive washing, another antibody specific for IDH1 is added to detect the captured IDH1 protein. For signal development, horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated antibody is added, followed by Tetramethyl-benzidine (TMB) reagent. Solution containing sulfuric acid is used to stop color development and the color intensity which is proportional to the quantity of bound protein is measurable at 450nm with the correction wavelength set at 630 nm.
