HRAS polyclonal antibody

This gene belongs to the Ras oncogene family, whose members are related to the transformation genes of mammalian sarcoma retroviruses. Mutations in the gene can cause Costello syndrome, a disease characterized by accelerated prenatal development, postnatal underdevelopment, predisposition to tumor formation, mental retardation, skin and musculoskeletal abnormalities, distinctive facial appearance, and cardiovascular abnormalities. A defect in the gene has been linked to a number of cancers, including bladder cancer, follicular thyroid cancer and colorectal cancer.
