This diagnostic kit is based on qPCR method. In this kit primers and labeled probes (FAM and JOE) for the detection of HSV1/HSV2 DNA and for the detection of internal control are used. The kit is intended for detection of pathogenic species of herpesvirus 1 (Herpes simplex virus 1 – HSV1) and herpesvirus 2 (Herpes simplex virus 2 – HSV2) in clinical samples.
