FOXO4 is a transcription factor involved in the regulation of insulin signaling pathway. It binds to insulin response elements (IREs) to activate the transcription of IGFBP1. FOXO down-regulates the expression of HIF1A and inhibits the transcriptional activation of HIF1A-regulated genes induced by hypoxia. It is involved in the negative regulation of the cell cycle. Chromosomal aberrations of FOXO4 are found in acute leukemia. This antibody can recognize FOXO4 subtype 1 and subtype Zeta.
