This ELISA Erythropoietin(EPO) kit is a two-site in vitro diagnostic ELISA for the measurement of the biologically active 165 amino acid chain of EPO. It is used as an adjunct in determining the cause of anemia and erythrocytosis (increase of red blood cell mass). EPO is also used to monitor AIDS patients undergoing AZT therapy and to monitor the drug Rx Epogen.
