ERGIC3 protein is also overexpressed in lung cancer tissues and cultured cells. The expression of ERGIC3 is related to the differentiation and histological type of lung cancer. Up-regulation of ERGIC3 expression can promote cell migration and proliferation. ERGIC3 may play an active role in the occurrence and development of lung cancer.
