Diagnostic R&D Specialist

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced R&D Specialist to direct research on the development of diagnostic products. The candidate taking this hands-on role will lead the efforts in planning and performing scientific experiments, which may focus on diseases diagnostic testing, flow cytometry technology, molecule genetics, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Explore emerging technology to devote to the research and development of diagnostics.
• Devise experiment plans according to project aims, execute the plans efficiently and report the process afterwards.
• Interpret and analyze the activity data to design further experiments.
• Work closely with fellow scientists to develop innovative diagnostic technologies or products.
• Assist in lab management and actively participate, advise, and present findings to team members.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in chemistry, biology, biotechnology, medicine, pharmacy, pharmacology, or related fields.
• At least 3 years of work experience in related fields. Knowledgeable in diagnostic development.
• Proficient expertise in developing flow cytometry or immunochemical products is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within multi-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
