CYFRA21-1 test kit

CYFRA21-1 is part of the epithelial cytoskeleton. In malignant epithelial cells, CYFRA21-1 is synthesized in large quantities and degraded by proteases, leading to an increase in the level of CYFRA21-1 in the blood. The level of CYFRA21-1 in the serum of lung cancer patients will increase, especially non-small cell lung cancer. The level of CYFRA21-1 is related to the stage of the disease. Some literatures indicate that CYFRA21-1 can be used as a tool for monitoring treatment response and predicting survival rate in lung cancer treatment.
