BRI3BP polyclonal antibody

BRI3BP, also known as cervical cancer 1 proto-oncogene-binding protein KG19, is a 251 amino acid multipass membrane protein. BRI3BP is widely expressed, but the highest in brain, kidney and liver. It is located in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and is involved in endoplasmic reticulum structure dynamics and mitochondrial activity. BRI3BP has pro-apoptotic properties and the ability to enhance drug-induced apoptosis. Studies have shown that overexpression of BRI3BP can enhance the release of caspase-3 and mitochondrial cytochrom c in human embryonic kidney 293T cells.
