BCL11B is a tumor suppressor protein involved in T-cell lymphoma. May play a role in the p53 signaling pathway. During the development of thymocytes, BCL11B is a key regulator of cell differentiation and survival. It inhibits transcription through direct, tfcoup2-independent binding to a GC-rich response element.
