Radioreceptor assay (RRA) is used for semi-quantitative determination of autoantibodies against acetylcholine receptors in human serum and plasma in vitro. The most sensitive and specific AChR antibody test is radioimmunoassay (binding antibody analysis) using human AChR. Due to its high specificity and sensitivity, it has become the gold standard for MG diagnosis.
